Chris

Chris is a newly diagnosed cancer patient. He proactively inquired about the status of his prostate when he was at the doctor’s place. He describes the many different procedures to diagnose cancer. He vividly describes how he received support from his family and how prayers helped him to cope with it. Listen to his advice and get inspired.

Fred

Fred was a men how was always very healthy and did a lot of physical activity. He shares how he realised that something was different when he needed to urinate. He went to hospital and a longer journey of conducting different tests at different healthcare facilities started. He tells about the chemotherapy he received and the sideeffects he encountered. His own experiences and the many cancer patients he met motivated him to become an advocate for cancer patients and aims at rising awareness of cancer treatment. He provides many good recommendations.

David

David shares how cancer treatment was while suffering from a co-morbidity, here high blood pressure. He describes the many tests used to diagnose cancer. He reports in detail about how the drug treatment and chemotherapy was perforemd and how he experienced it. He explains how the very close relationship to his healthcare provider helped him a lot. James shares how we started going to hospital regulary due to a broken leg. In the course of the treatment, they found out that he has cancer as well. Tom is a prostate cancer survivor who was always healthy throughout his entire life. One day, when he was already retired he felt some problems while urinating and got for a check-up. Another health concern was detected first and treated until they finally diagnosed cancer. He wanted to inform himself very well so that he can also inform his children so that can protect themselves from getting it. He reports on how his cancer medication was changed three times. He describes in detail how his children supported him and how his faith in God gave him strenght.

Phelix

Phelix is a prostate cancer patient who describes in detail how the prostate cancer was diagnosed. He searched for a second opinion and diagnosis (x-ray and MRT). He provides good ideas of how to prepare for treatment. He talks about the effect of cancer on his daily live, on his work life. In addition, he cleary formulates advices for patients and requests for the government.  

Benson

Benson is a prostate cancer champion. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer stage 1. He describes how he received radiotherapy and drug treatment. He gives many insights into how his family and his faith helped him to live with cancer. He expresses his satisfaction with cancer treatment in Kenya.

Ananias is a cancer patient who received chemotherapy, drug treatment and radiotherapy. He reports on the side effects of cancer (treatment) and how he coped with them.
