What does life with cancer look like?

Is it the end or how I cope with it? More than 20 breast cancer survivors share with you their experience. They honestly report about what was easy and what was difficult for them and they give many tips of what has helped them to accept the cancer diseases, take it day by day and to come out stronger. Get prepared and inspired by breast cancer survivors.

NAFULA

Nafula is a cancer champion, wife, mother, grandma, founder of a cancer support organization and inspired many cancer patients. She has a great way of explaining what happened during diagnosis, surgery, chemotherapy and hormonal therapy. She talks about the high costs of ineffective traditional medicine and her early menopause. She describes how cancer affected her family and shares many ideas of how she coped during the cancer journey.

She shares how her cancer was diagnosed accidentally. She explains how she prepared for going to the hospital for treatment and how the Covid-19 restrictions impacted her treatment. She describes how breast cancer (stage 3B) was treated and how it was for her when metastases were found 5 months later. She courageously explains how her breasts were removed. She shares with us how it was for her to live with breast cancer and how she coped with cancer and what has helped her.

LILIAN

Lilian is a breast cancer champion and a mother. She shares how it was for her to be diagnosed with cancer (stage 2B) and being pregnant at the same time. She describes the decisions she needed to make and how the pregnancy affected her cancer. She also share how she coped with cancer (stage 4) and what has helped her.

JANE

Jane is a teacher and a long-term breast cancer survivor and knows how to take care of herself and family members. She was diagnosed with breast cancer, stage 4. She reports about treatment in India and Germany and how she lived after her diagnosis for over 21 years. Now she supports many cancer patients and rises awareness on cancer.

MARGARET

Margaret is a mother and champion who lived with breast cancer stage 2b. She shares the long journey until cancer was finally detected and how she needed to cope with a insensitively provided diagnosis. She gives many great recommendations for cancer patients and the government.

CAROLYNE

Caroline is a teacher and she shares with you how other people were instrumental in helping her going for screening, treatment and coping. She explains how it was to be dignosed with breast cancer stage 3 and being in need of blood transfusion. She describes in detail how she experienced the diagnosis, chemotherapy, medication at all. She shares how she became a counsellor for others.

ROSE

Rose is a breast cancer champion. She explains in detail how she often feared additional scans and receiving the results of the scans. She has an excellent way of describing her experiences with chemotherapy, radiotherapy and hormonal treatment. She provides

BERNADETTE

Bernadette was just in highschool when she noticed a lump in her breast but she ignored it for many years. Later it became painful so she went to hospital and was identified with stage 4 breast cancer, triple negative, very aggressive. She described how she needed to be withstand the advices from people and how her family supported her in it.

SALMA

Salma regularly practiced breast self-examination and later was diagnosed with breast cancer triple negative in 2020. Learn how her husband encouraged her to seek treatment and how being in touch with other cancer patients helped her to accept the situation.
