Mwakirunge Ward Citizen Forum, CBO

  • is a community based organisation based in Kisauni, Mombasa County, Kenya. The organisation was registered in 2019 with 20 members both male and female and is led by the chairman.
  • runs a community media project (Yehu Tv) based in social media to amplify the community voice.
  • The areas of work include 
  • Human rights work – through use of the Kenyan constitution 2010. E.g. following up on the budget process and implementation of the projects.
  • Community development – Computer and Entrepreneurial training. E.g.  provide opportunities for the youth and women.
